I went to the Jeffrey Fulvimari show, with my daughter Katie, last night.
We had a *great* time.
Jeffrey is a world class talent with a naive approach that carries on the repetitive tradition of Warhol and the contextual irony of Roy Lichtenstein. While the event was peppered with demi-celebs, (most that would show up at the opening of an envelope) Jeffrey spent a great deal of time with the kids with whom he seemed simpatico.
This was the second “Sharpie” event that we have attended (The first was on the Disney cruise). Sharpie seems to be trying very hard to break into the child-space, which can be problematic for parents as the permanent markers are really a must-supervise medium.
That said, Sharpies are my favorite pens, cause they’ll write on ANYTHING!
